Today, on perfectly fine Sunday, I did nothing…and it was everything. Ok, so let me preface this by saying that my definition of “nothing” is very subjective. It has dramatically changed from my “nothing” Sundays in my early 20’s, which sometimes would consist of nursing a hangover all day on the couch and watching re-run marathons of Sex in the City or Friends. Once I hit my mid 20’s, weekends became the most productive and enjoyable times of the week. I recently made one of the best purchases of my adult life: a crockpot. My friends raved about it and said I should totally get one. How did I not discover this before? It has revolutionized dinner time, especially getting home from work at 4:30PM and having to feed a ravenous little boy by 6PM. Surviving the Third Trimester
I’m officially 2 months away from Baby #2’s due date and deep into the third trimester. I feel like the time has flown by in this pregnancy. When I was pregnant with Chase, this was definitely the time I experienced the most discomfort and exhaustion. I’m now reliving the back pain, itchy belly, and swollen legs, while caring for a rambunctious toddler which elevates the degree of difficulty to a whole other level.
