Haul Out the Holly

Christmas is by far my favorite holiday of the year, and I deck my home out for the holidays. I do like keeping things rather simple…less is definitely more.

I love a tree with a colored theme, and sentimental ornaments. I stuck with white and gold and added some basic brown-paper presents under the tree. Garland can go a long way to make a home feel cozy.
I went a little overboard with red bows this year, but it really dressed up the kitchen against the white cabinetry

A great DIY for winter decor in general is a silver or gold glitter cone. You literally take a cardboard cone (usually at any craft store) roll it in glue, and then roll it in shiny confetti. BOOM!
